Love Story

On Tuesday 16/02/16 the meeting of Reading Club was dedicated to the reading of a romance novel by American writer Erich Segal “Love Story”. The novel released on February 14, 1970, Valentine's Day became the top-selling work of fiction for all of 1970 in the United States and was translated into more than 20 languages. Why was it such a hit? Well, it so simply, yet beautifully portrays timeless themes about love, courtship, and conflicts between social classes as well as younger and older generations.
